Title: I misspelled the address on a package, will it still get there?
Post by: Green Man on November 17, 2008, 02:13:14 AM
Everything was correct other then the street name which I accidentally spelled with an "f" when it should have been an "r". I sent it via UPS next day air so it would arrive sometime today, if there won't be an issue. I haven't misspelled an address on a package before so this is a little worrying because I need it to get there today and no later.

Someone please assure me that everything will be alright.

So I guess your bomb is going to kill an innocent family of four instead of the man who raped you five years ago.

I imagine it might get there a little late, but it would still come.

My street name gets spelled wrong all the time, gets put as a street when it's an avenue, stuff like that. Sometimes people will send my mail to the wrong zipcode as well, but I still get it. [My zipcode is 18702, but if you put 18705 I'll still get it.]

I think you'll be okay. :)

I sent a package with the wrong number (put two 4s instead of two 5's) but it still got there.  Then again it was a court with like five houses so they could have easily figured it out through the process of elimination.  :shrug
