Title: WTF Happened to Need for Speed?
Post by: Tabasco on November 18, 2008, 10:14:51 AM: These reviews are terrible ??? How could they ship a game this framey? This is one of EA's few IPs that have any clout, and they just keep shitting it up.

It's official, Burnout > NFS. I'd buy Burnout Paradise, but I'm waiting for the party pack version they announced, with the party pack add-on and the other stuff.

Are you playing the real version or the Wii version? Just to make sure.

Post by: Tabasco on November 18, 2008, 12:13:43 PM: :( I actually have to purchase a Wii. My parents have decided they think it looks "fun" and my Mother wants Wii Fit. I told them I'd rather buy them a $400 Bluray player for their HDTV, but no luck.

IGN says NFS on 360 isn't as bad wrt framerate, so I may try that. Midnight Club just bugged me for some reason. I don't like pulling up a map every 30 seconds trying to figure out where to go.

It's sad for NFS considering they started the year so awesome with the new Burnout.

I really liked Most Wanted (hated Underground 1 and 2, never played Carbon or the one released last year) so if it is a lot like Most Wanted, I'll probably pick it up.

Clearly you aren't very smart buying the game for the PS3.
I need to build up my trophy collection...
