Title: How did Magneto and Rogue ever have a baby?
Post by: MrAngryFace on November 18, 2008, 04:21:56 PM: I was eating my lunch today and I was remembering the Age of Apocalypse. Magneto was able to create a magnetic field around his body very close to the skin, that prevented direct contact with rogue, but they could still touch. Was his magnetic field one way? If so, how did he uhh, you know do the business. I mean if it projected outward, wouldnt his "legacy" had been propelled outward as well? That sounds dangerous.

Post by: MrAngryFace on November 18, 2008, 04:27:28 PM: Well prior to reading the earlier issues before the last bit of the arc that was in the 4 issue releases per title, I assumed that her absorbtion of powers from polaris kind of cancelled out her absorbtion when she touched magneto. In AoA she took her powers from Polaris instead of Miss Marvel iirc.

Death of Superman wished it was this awesome.

Yeah, or at least a cartoon mini-series. Magneto was hardcore in AoA too. He's an awesome hero.

It would be like thrusting into thin air. Even with a condom you're still getting friction, I don't think it would be so with a magnetic field.

Of course you'd also have to think that if the field were of that nature, as his legacy passed through the field, it would reach a point where it would be ejected from the field at high velocity.

There's also the idea that its only her skin that has that effect and maybe once inside he could lower the field I dunno, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense. I need to consult my AoA tomes again.
