I got to my bank 10 minutes early so I was waiting outside when a middle aged guy with an eye patch and wheelchair came and waited with me. We talked about how banks used to not be open on saturdays at all. Then out of the blue he asked me if I had scene commercials for wii music (Although he didn't call it by name, he just said this wii thing). I said yes. So then he ranted about how learning an instrument took years of practice. :lol
Even random people who dont play video games think that wii music is for fegs.

Wii Music is just too revolutionary of a title to be appreciated by the unwashed masses such as himself
-
:rofl
but seriously, eye patch and wheelchair?
I'm not even PDing you guys on this one.

I dont think he really thought of it as discussing video games. He was probably just being an old man and ripping on youth culture.

They have a lot of infomercials running on the kid channels now for Wii Music. "Anyone can learn an instrument, and you don't even need an instrument!"
Has Oprah had it on her show yet? Watch it go on to sell millions upon millions once that happens.

Has Oprah ever had the Wii on her show? Even she probably thinks it's for fegs

They won't gimp their consoles with the burdon of a shitty controller but they will create something that's not a giant leap graphics wise. Both companies are losing money right now, the prospect of a $600-700 console isn't appealing to anyone. It was inevitable regardless of what Nintendo did
I hate their games/direction but from a business perspective Nintendo hit the ball out the park

Eh, I think it could be realistically argued that Oprah has played a significant role in the success of Wii in the US. Oprah loves Wii.

Can't wait till next-gen and all the severly gimped Xbox 3 and PS4 consoles with basically the same specs as Xbox 360 and PS3.
Sony and MS for 99% will follow Nintendo steps from this gen.
That would make no sense. Sony relies on the Playstation brand as a pillar in the CE market, so there isn't much sense in pushing something that doesn't promote its other CE products. Just because they are game consoles doesn't mean that they belong in the same market, or exist for the same reasons.

on the brigth side, it's ridiculous how cheap the prospect of buying a really powerful mainstream PC has become
