i bought 3 more 2 Tone 7"s I didn't have, Trapped Under Ice's "Stay Cold" EP (hardcore from Baltimore), Violent Arrest 2x 7" EP on Gov't Warning (hardcore from the UK), Blondie's Atomic 7" which I picked up for the B-Side a reggae tune called Die Young, Stay Beautiful

I also snagged 3 12" dance singles (one hardcore, one big beat, one PWEI).

also a new unlimited ride card for December for the transit system.

I heard Ege Bamyasi by Can on vinyl over the radio years ago and have been meaning to get a record player ever since.  it sounded like a different album. 

so yeah, buy Ege Bamyasi if you like Can.  and if you don't like Can, then I will smh till it falls off.

After reading some poor reviews on the signal strength of the MS desktop 6000 (I use my PC in the living room, so signal strength is important), I decided to skip the Staples Black Friday $39.99 special on that and buy a Logitech Desktop Wave kb/m set on sale for $49.99 (it's usually $80) instead

I love it so far, feels nice

mouse isn't the greatest, but i might invest in a gaming mouse somewhere down the line

Do you game on your PC?  I'd like to get a wireless set, but I'm worried about gaming lag/signal drops.

I've never had much of a problem with lag or drop-outs on logitech stuff, their signal strength is their strong point

but yeah, i would prefer wired, i just don't want a bunch of wire junk strung across my living room to trip over

i will probably get dedicated kb/m and usb extensions for gaming in the future, and just bring it out when i game

this is just a nice, all-purpose kb/m - worked fine in Left 4 Dead tonight

The weight cartridge is - officially - the nerdiest thing ever, but it's pretty awesome being able to customise the mouse to your tastes like that.
