NBC: "That was Rick Astley, singing the rick roll phenom "Never Gonna Give You Up!"  That counts as jumping 10 sharks, I think. Meme obliterated  :lol

Fuck Macy's Parade. There's no magic or wonder in it anymore. All it is now is the "popular shit". Do you think I want to see the new YUKON pull the Bolt float? No, I want to see so fucking awesome balloons. Maybe a Halo balloon, or a giant batman balloon that flies away.

there's a degree of unintentional hilarity about the sanctity of a parade which is sponsored by a gargantuan retail chain.

I celebrated Thanksgiving today in the time-honored tradition of cramming 59,000 calories down my neck.  Now I am going to continue the tradition by reclining on the couch and staring blankly at a television for hours.

Now that I think about it, this is pretty much how I celebrate every day.

we're posting at an off-shoot of a forum that considers zealous obedience to specific console manufacturers as the norm.

Having reverence for the Thanksgiving day parade seems somehow wholesome by comparison.

Isn't it cute when people try to bring up memes that got old a year and a half ago?

I can't wait until someone at next year's parade will have a "I CAN HAZ TURKEY" float

Wow, Thanksgiving is really boring when you're the one making a lot of the stuff.  At least everything turned out really good.  My day was make food > Spider-Man WoS > eat food
