Title: Happy Thanksgiving guys
Post by: Phoenix Dark on November 27, 2008, 04:15:17 PM: Surprised there wasn't a thread yet. So, what are you guys doing? I'm at my parents house; dinner is still being cooked

Just the primary family here. It's actually the first time I've had Thanksgiving without my grandparents; uncles/aunts/etc aren't here either. The grandparents were too tired to make the trip up here so they stayed in Detroit with the rest of the family. Plus my mom had a bit of a falling out with one of my aunts so yeah, no wonder they didn't come to our house lol

Just means more dressing FOR ME :bow

Tomorrow one of my female friend's from high school is supposed to come over. I'm also supposed to go drink with my best friend and his brother in laws. Later in the night I'm supposed to go to a party with another friend who came back home from college for vacation. I bet all of these plans end up falling through. :(

We had over both sets of parents, my sister, and my grandma for dinner, then two of my cousins and some of our friends showed up later. It went well. Parents talked about syphilis and "having a good time" in the Philippines that later required penicillin. Grandma said she's "too old to fool around," which is probably true because she's 93. My dad played the shittttt out of Mario Kart. Good times were had.
