In an exclusive interview with Strategy Informer, Paradox Interactive Executive Vice President Fredrik Wester confirmed that Majesty 2 - The Fantasy Kingdom Sim would be heading to consoles for the first time since the beginning of the series, although it has only been confirmed for the Xbox 360 at the moment.
I always felt like this was a console game on the PC. One of the few games that streamlined the RTS process and made it easy to learn, fun to play.
I hope it does real well, I am a fan of the series.
Here's a demo of the first game (from 6-7 years ago (?)): http://www.cyberlore.com/Majesty/downloads/majestydemo.exe if you want to play it. Only 45 megs and is a one map deal.

Some new vids of the PC version up on youtube. Looks really good, they are definitely keeping one eye on what made the first game great, to the point where they seem to totally get all that's needed is a fresh coat of paint and good UI/management features.
