I liked the first half (third?). It wasn't until everything after the space shuttle where it got meh.
I thought it was a great movie, one of the best comic movies ever. It's definitely better than the first Spiderman imfo. And I LOVE the Spiderman movies
Loved it,hate me all you want.

Most people liked it; I don't know one person who didn't in fact.
76% on Rotten Tomatoes is nothing to brag home about. It's no Spider-Man 2 or Casino Royale.
It was meh-tacular.

You liked the kid and the piano and I'm sure you cried at the end.
"The son becomes the father, and the father becomes the son."

Honestly, Superman as a character to me is fucking boooooring. Omg, he's a guy from another planet and he's pretty much unstoppable! Who cares? Give me a guy that's fucked up in the head and dresses like a bat to beat the shit out of crooks, or a gay emo kid that wears pajamas and can climb buildings to look at men's asses.
Lifting an entire island isn't grand enough for you, Willco? What do you want him to do, get you laid?
It always seems like whenever someone tries to write the Superman character, they get too wrapped up in his "mortals are the weakness" thing and end up drawing too much from it, thus making him a boring character with the same formula of super-super to gets-his-kicked to cool-theme-music to lol-he-beat-up-everyone.
I picked it up on BluRay today, got to the part where the kid threw the piano and turned it off.
