Maybe they realized it wasn't worth a few hundred thousand bucks a year to maintain a video game blog mostly for the hardcore gamer?

At least he'll always be welcome back at 1up.

Fuckin' good.  MTV needs to die in a fire, and then we can piss it out.

That said, I feel bad for the MTV Multiplayer guys.  Weren't they pretty good?

MTV probably doesn't even have 12,000 employees.  I've heard rumors that it's a few hundred.
