Title: Networking a laptop to my computer's router?
Post by: Phoenix Dark on December 04, 2008, 08:23:29 PM
My roommate has a laptop. I've taken the security off the router temporarily so he can connect, but I want to make it so that his laptop is connected to my router without leaving it unsecured.

I've been losing my connection a few times ever since unsecuring the router

uh?

I want to set up my router so that my roommate's laptop can connect to it, without leaving the router's security functions disabled...

I love playing with my neighbors by leaving the security off and then booting them off. :teehee

I can look out my window and see the neighbor girl playing mario kart and watch the confusion when I kick her off right before the finish line. :teehee

It's able to connect when security is disabled but he says his connection is limited (1 out of 5 bars).
