Jesus fuck she looks like shes gonna drop on the spot lol.
-
In addition to the MSNBC show she does every day she also does a three hour radio show for Air America every day. So what with all that she obviously keeps rather busy.
She's also six feet tall and can probably kick your ass (our at least mine).
-
SHE NEEDS SLEEP! HAVE YOU SEEN HER EYES ON TODAYS SHOW?! jesus christ I never said I coud beat her up
-
She is also writing a book. She gets up at 6 AM and writes for a few hours before going off to do her radio show THEN her tv show. Insane.
-
Wait, are we sure that Rachel Maddow is a woman?
:P

Don't talk about my future wife that way. I love her and her lesbian ways. :heartbeat
-
She looks like a boy, very manly lesbian. You have to watch her show to see why so many adore her.
Footage is probably the best way:

-
She should let her hair grow imo.
-
she looks like Egon
-
Rachel is the best thing on MSNBC
-
they should have let Rachel take over hosting Meet The Press. If there was one thing you could say about Russert, it was that he had a very distinctive style-warm yet at times ruthless interrogative-and Maddow is pretty much the most distinctive personality NBC's political arm has got.
Outside of Olbermann, who is a bit too nutz for such a high profile job.
-
Sticking Olbermann on Meet the Press would be OMG awful lol.
-
yeah I don't think olbermann would work with me over tea and bran muffins in the morning like that. Also, I'm not sure that the current meet the press table would be able to hide the huge boner he seems to get when hearing the sound of his own voice.
-
Maddow can go on the attack and not be an asshole about it. I've never seen Chuck Todd really get confrontational on issues before so I dunno how that would work, and whats his face that DID get the job I know nothing about aside from watching him report the news.
I honestly think the format of meet the press requires a pundit because they honestly have a different verbal skillset than a news guy, but olbermann is way way way way way crazy left to OReilly's way way way way crazy right. Maddow would have been a great pick, but does she even have the time to do meet the press? lol
-
I am REALLY interested to see what happens to the MSNBC lineup now. Greggory is leaving his show to go do MTP. And Chris Matthews will be leaving when his contract is up like in Feb-March to run for the senate. That leaves only half of their prime time roster.
They HAVE to give Chuck Todd one of those spots. Come on.
-
Chuck Todd couldnt run a show like LoudBall
-
Chuck's cool and all when he's talking about stuff he's really informed on, but he can be awkward when he's talking about certain policy stuff that he's not too up on. Gregory is total blah and will suck the life out of MTP. Rachel would have been the good pick- not only is she smart but she works like a maniac. She would do the better interviews and that's what the show should be about.

Todd could take over David Greggory's show when he leaves for MTP. I fear they'll give it to Andrea Mitchell though, she is so boring.
That David Shuster guy will probably get Hardball I think since he is always filling in and doing correspondent stuff for it.
-
Yeah not sure I could watch Andrea for more than a few minutes at a time like how it is now.
-
The best thing Andrea Mitchell ever did was get completely fuck-owned by the balloons at the Republican National Convention.
I think it was the RNC anyway.
-
yeah the RNC, was great :lol
-
Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann fighting with eachother like petty children during the DNC was the most entertaining thing ever.
-
I don't know, Olbermann telling Scarbs to "get a shovel" was pretty fucking great.
-
She's smart but I don't get the fascination with her.
-
that sir, is uncalled for and unpatriotic. SIR
-
She's smart but I don't get the fascination with her.
-
She's smart but I think that her personality is given too much attention. Her interviews are always the "lets have pundits shouting" type at worst or at best, it's like a semi-formal debate. None of her interviews really gave too much new insight into the person she was interviewing imo. I don't think that she's at all dumb or even necessarily manipulative but it's obvious that she's greatly overhyped for having, and liking, vagina. I think that she gives entertaining criticism at times but I'm as impressed with how she does her job as I am with Obama.
The only interviewer that I REALLY like is Charlie Rose. He can make interesting interviews with people that you've never even heard of and he actually enjoys letting the other person speak for most of the interview.
-
umm, rachel always lets people talk, and there isnt much shouting on her show. I think you spend nights drunk while watching Olbermann or Matthews
-
I'm talking about when she's on other shows too. Put pundits together and you get a shouting match.
The problem on her show is that she does relatively short interviews and always has the person being interviewed focused on a single topic and the interview goes in a point/counter-point pattern. The interviews mostly consist of information that you already know. She still gives good criticism but I think she can improve how she does her show a lot.
-
Shouting match? I watch her show religiously no one ever shouts on it. She NEVER raises her voice and all her interviews are very calm. It is probably one of the most laid back political shows I've seen.
