I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Being mostly in French I can't say for sure if Van Damme's acting is really great, but I can say I really enjoyed his performance.

There's an 8 minute one-take monologue in the film that feels more like an interview than a piece of acting. Because of that it doesn't sound forced but instead very genuine, like he's just spilling his guts.

I was worried the movie would be nothing more than a gimmick. Granted it does rely on JCVD to rise above a standard plot, but it's told well enough so that it can be forgiven.

just saw this movie on blu-ray.. it's really good and more people at evilbore should watch it.
