Title: Poor CrystalGemini aka HOW CAN ONE HAVE B.O. SO BAD?
Post by: The Fake Shemp on November 29, 2006, 12:51:05 AM: She got physically ill and had to leave campus early because some videogame major's body odor was so bad it made her gag. She even had to stop and take breaks on the way to BART to stop from completely giving in.

How do you have body odor that bad?

I dont get how people can leave the house without even one shower. The way I feel after I wake up is disgusting.

The computer lab was a sauna and I spent the past hour trying to hatch THE SAME set of columns in AutoCAD as the program kept crashing on me. Things were not good.

But I endured.

For the next hour and a half, I stayed there. In my seat. Working on my Traditional Residential Design Rococo rendering. On the columns. With the heat and stench. And an empty stomach with some mixed raisins and a packet of Handi-Snacks.

I decided to leave when my vision was blurring, my hands were shaking and I was about two minutes from puking all over the nice new Macs and HP PCs in the room. I had to sit on the floor of the elevator - it was that bad. The ice cold air was a welcome relief heading to BART (which I was really dreading because the trains smell like urine-marinated bums most of the time). I was lucky, the car I got into was ok.

They probably smell it all the time and get desensitized to it.

When i worked in the cafe at Books A Million, once a month we'd have a guy come in and clean the grease trap. When he opened the trap, the entire store would fill with this scent that smelled like the elephant cage at the zoo, but ten times worse. At first, it was pretty rough, but then you get used to it. i'm guessing the people who work at the zoo cleaning cages feel the same way. i'm also guessing the guys who play World of Warcraft and spill burger juice all over their shirt all night and then do a barrel roll from their chair to their bed and like don't shower for three weeks feel the same way as well.

Even half assed soap rubbing a few places and a smattering of shampoo on the head does wonders. I think that's the real reason I hated gym in school, people who didnt shower taking off the clothes that trapped the smell in and UNLEASHING THEIR WRATH UPON ME

After working hard outside on a hot day, or playing basketball, I know I don't smell great. I can smell it, and taste it. There's no way these people don't know they smell like shit, which leads me to believe they simply don't care. Which is even more disturbing.
