Got some videos? I can't imagine that chiptunes like this are played in a dancing atmosphere.

:lol jiji that's not the type of dancing I was thinking of people doing. I guess I kinda consider that to be more like jumping up and down and throwing your hands in the air.

There was a chiptune documentary a while back that had people raving to the stuff, but I think you have to pay to watch it now.

Here's a link to a great 30 min Hally set (the guy in jiji's video), featuring a chiptune version of Blue Monday. This guy's my favorite chiptune artist, music is VERY reminiscent of old Konami and Capcom game soundtracks, with a breakbeat feel.

thanks for the link, dling now.  I've just been introduced to bit shifter and Random tonight, who I like a lot...i'm ready to get full on into discovering some more chiptune artists after this blasted semester gets out of my way.
