Title: upgraded to firefox 3 today *types "evi" into location bar*...omgpornshowing
Post by: Don Flamenco on December 10, 2008, 06:33:25 PM: how the fuck do I fix this piece of shit? I used my location bar to actually get to websites, now it brings up shit based on what letters match the page? are you kidding me?

rant over. anyway, I googled and found a work around, but if anyone knows how to get back to the old location bar that'd be nice.

Note that the underlying autocomplete algorithm is the Firefox 3 algorithm, not the Firefox 2 algorithm. oldbar only affects the presentation of the results.

see, the internet came up with 1000s of ways of blocking porn from the results, but I just want to go back to the old algorithm. i'll just have to train the awesome bar.
