Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but I'm wondering if it can be done and how I'd go about doing so. I don't want to run 100ft of ethernet cord from my room to the kitchen or buy a wireless bridge if I could just use the wireless router that I already have. Thanks.

modem -> ethernet -> router -> wireless/wired access to pc/xbox/etc
thats your solution

i dont know your setup, but if your modem has wireless, you should be able to set it up wirelessly. meh. i hate being internet customer service. read a book.

Wait a minute. Your FiOS modem is basically a router and is already wireless. Why would you need another router?

do you have an actiontec MI424WR?

So I can plug my computer into the router and have that connect wirelessly to my modem so my computer can get on the internet.
Get like, one of those USB WiFi dongles or a PCI card instead. Otherwise you can use any DD-WRT compatible router in Client Bridge mode, I believe that's what it's called at least.
