Valve games offer more achievements on steam than their 360 counterparts.

Achievements do tend to be less compelling to get on Steam than Xbox Live.

Steam is awesome, it's pretty much the only way I buy PC games now. It's definitely the only digital distributor I would use.

Yeah, I forgot GOG, they're good for the older stuff. I haven't tried Gamersgate.
