I think the best option here is Old English 8.0. There's no reason to crucify your taste buds with St. Ides, Steel Reserve 211, etc. The worst of the cheap, of course, is bum wine, usually Cisco, which tastes exactly like motor oil.

Back when I was in college, I bought some of this. Pretty sure it was less than $6 for a twelve pack.

It's pretty awful, but I remember it made me laugh once I had a buzz. I bought it again a few weeks later to see if it would have the same effect, and it did. I can't recall buying it again. It just doesn't taste very good.

If I want a happy buzz for $6, I think I'd rather take down a bottle of Yellow Tail or something.

I recently had some Big Bear malt liquor that was rather pleasant.

And it made me feel like a big bear.

well, i didn't want to get drunk or bloated up from drinking up a bunch of beer, but i wanted a nice pleasant buzz, so i went for the tall boy with the high alcohol content

that was my reasoning, plus the liquor sto was closed

will reexamine my faculty for reasoning at a later date

Pounding down Beast, Steel Reserve, Miller High Life, and/or Bud Light should be a ritual for every underaged drinker.

My favorite drink idea is to mix Franzia and Old English 800 together.  If you get the concentration right, it tastes just like cranberry juice (100% not that sweetened shit)
