Probably picking up Mercenaries 2 for 20 bucks in a bit if Best Buy will honor their ad price PLUS a reward zone gamer's club coupon.

Not many stores aren't open on sunday, so not much can be bought.

is it still going? the website doesn't show the deal, so it's either done or in-store only.

It's for the entire week, but odds are your TRU is already sold out since that is an incredible deal.

yeah, the two closest (but still far) Toys R Us stores were both sold out.  I was planning on picking up Soul Bubbles there also, but I guess I'll do that one online tomorrow.

I had to drive 40 miles to get to the closest TRU.  Luckily I got there at like 7:05 AM and was the first person there.

I hate to be a steamfag but the $15 extra is worth the price of Steam to me. :\

No, not people, just me. I'm fuckin' weird.

Yeah, you're right. Paying the full price for a game is stupid when I can get it cheaper. I should have just kept playing my pirated copy.  :dur

My old one broke during the move back to the States.  It was the only thing in my suitcases that was busted, so I'm glad it was only this that needed replacing!

Saw it for $49.99 and decided to grab it.  I might have gotten PoP over this, but they were all sold out.

For the "lolz."  This was also $49.99.  It's actually not as bad as I would have thought and plays 10 times more smoothly than the previous 3D MKs (this one is all 2.5D), although it is still stiff compared to other fighters.  That is pretty much Mortal Kombat in a nutshell though.  I hear the online is kinda borked and people have already figured out fucked up glitches/combos.  Again MK in a nutshell!

10 bucks on Steam.  Already have Orange Box for 360 but TF2 sucks with a controller.

went looking for the vinyl of Fucked Up's Chemistry of Common Living but found some other stuff by them instead

the What's your Rupture 12" version of Year of the Pig, the Blocks Recording 12" version of Year of the Dog, and the two LP version of their first album Hidden World.

my GF and I traded gifts today.  She got me the 4 LP Boxed set version of And Justice for All, and all three Henry Rollins Books Fanatic! which is song lists from his show with sometimes copious notes.  Well worth reading.

Amazing, good and decent.

Nice taste in PC games GR. If you liked Doom III you will love Quake 4.

I only played Doom 3 for a few hours after it came out and never really went back to it, although I liked what I played.

Quake 4 is a very competent FPS in both SP and MP. I liked it a lot. Just Cause looks better on the 360 due to the PC port job, but I still played it on the PC because dammit that's where you are supposed to play games!

Witcher EE is HOT, of course.
