Back in High School about 10 years ago, the very first video project I made was a Mr. Potato head version of that film. It won some award or siomething at a local community college. lol

I adore this movie, and all 80s action cinema.  But I can't believe how naive we all were.  It's so laughable that Stallone is positioning his character as a virtue of clean living and natural muscle, and Drago as a Dynabol freak.  When it's Stallone who has the far more unbelievable physique.  Still, Drago killed Apollo.  He had to go down.

Dolph Lundgren is the coolest motherfucker ever.  He's like the real Chuck Norris of legend: 160 IQ, 6'5" tall, speaks over five languages, two-time European karate champion, holds a master's degree in chemical engineering, former member of the Kustjägarna, fucked Grace Jones (although, who hasn't?), sexy as hell, and no goddamn Bible thumping.  Also, has killed a ton of ninjas and, according to Brandon Lee, has a gigantic cock.

Rocky IV is the manliest damn musical ever made.  One designed entirely to appeal to straight men.  As it has very little competition, this explains its enduring popularity.
