They have really stupid beliefs.
Individual Muslims may not be so bad, but as a group...

That sounds like you are judging an individual based on group actions. :wag

Yeah, that's pretty messed up.
So anyway, how about we just drop the nukes on ourselves and cut out the middleman? Free market efficiency at work, people.

Just out of curiosity. Why are liberals okay with Iran having nuclear technology but get their panties in a bundle about UEA having them?
-
Is Jin from UEA or Saudi Arabia?
Anyways it's just nuclear power plant tech it's not like they are giving them bombs.
-
Awesome. Set up a nice relationship with an Iranian trade partner and then hopefully get relations with Iran cooled down. This could be the best thing that Bush does for Obama.
Anyways it's just nuclear power plant tech it's not like they are giving them bombs.
I'm guessing that most people read nuclear plant and assume that it actually makes the bombs or something. Somebody I was talking to on XBL got confused like that.

Such as this drivel
The piece de resistance. The oil men of the world, Bushes included, have everything they could possibly want now. Armed to the teeth, a greatly weakened US with it's military scattered around the globe and it's economy in ruins. Sure, they made it look like bin Laden and Al Qaeda were responsible, they gave us the face of the enemy, but who were the real puppetmasters funding the numerous diversions that allowed a handful of conniving bas*ards to plunder this country. Nice sleight of hand, and we were asleep at the wheel. Is there any way back? Can we stop this madman from deploying nuclear weapons to another unstable region of the world? Or will we continue to endlessly in-fight over the imposition of the will of one group over another (e.g. gay marriage, abortion and gun ownership) while allowing others to do do far more harm; our Constitution has been shredded, our military has been stretched thin and is being used solely to defend the oil supply and the UAE, and our economy is broken.
:lol :lol

huffington post isn't a political organization. it's a news site. they push whatever agenda gets the most page views. I doubt it's where "liberals" go for intelligent criticism.

What the Bush administration needs to do, if they haven't already, is sell a middle-eastern nation the roadmap to nuclear weaponry that will take them, say, 12-15 years to achieve. That way when Republicans inevitably return to power in 2016, they'll have a ready made reason to go to war.
-
That is just old enough for George Prescott Bush to run for President.

You realize that every single war in the 20th century was started by a democrat right?
WW1-Wilson
WW2 -Roosevelt
Korean War- Truman
Vietnam-Johnson
So much for your argument.
-
This whole thing in Iraq for the past 6 years has been a minor military skirmish.
-
The democrat party was the southern party until Johnson signed the Civil Rights Bill.
Regardless, those wars were entered probably more because of political pressure/pearl harbor than any sort of idealism.\
Getting off topic now.

Well technically it was never declared a war by congress. So yes, you are correct.

It's fun seeing FoC try to reconcile his newfound Chomsky-by-proxy worldview with his racist fear of Muslims all while trying to paint everyone else as hypocritces.

I'm not the one making alarmist threads about muslims having nuclear technology.
-
FoC, pointing out liberal hypocrisy since 2005. :punch
-
Damn liberals being "fine" with Iran having nukes. As long as "fine" means "not in a rush to bomb them in the name of non-proliferation" which is your opinion as long as you're still cadging opinions off of Ron Paul.
Unless you have some deep, nuanced stance about nonproliferation. Har har har.
-
WHo brought up Ron Paul? ???

:shh Its a big secret that it was really America and not Germans. Its all part of an Illuminatti plot to take over the world and rid it of any opposition. :shh

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MAN
-
I didn't post this as an alarmists thread. It is just very hypocritical to me that Bush has threatened Iran for its nuclear aspirations but is willing to sell the tech to its close neighbor.

Why is it hypocritical? Because they are both muslim?

No but we didn't join WW1 when germany did. And we did declare war on Germany in WW2 even though they never attacked us...
