I got a boner tonight when leaving BN. Finest black woman I've seen in ages. I basically turned into the wolf from the ol' toons: straight as bullet, harder than an erection.

No stores in Michigan :piss2

I have a Borders card that saves me a good amount of money; haven't used it in awhile.

I've scored some cheap import PS2 games at the Half Priced Books near my house. I'm guessing that poor University of Washington students unload their stuff in an attempt to pay the rent or buy alcohol.

The one on Cap Hill was always a gold mine, as well.  I should go to that one again.  It was a large one, too.

If my stupid district decides to cancel classes tomorrow (so far we're one of only three districts that haven't canceled class tomorrow), I'll take a walk over there.

I'm actually glad you made this thread, because I have a question concerning half price that has really been bothering me. When I sell my books there, they dont tell you how much each individual item is worth they only give you a total. Why is that?

Probably because you're more likely to just outright accept the lump amount than if each book was listed out separately.

You found Grim Fandango there? Nice.

I haven't really found a HPB with good old PC games (although I've only been to two of them so w/e)

I went there today and got Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, Einhander, a couple Fallout 1 and 2 PC guides, Halo 3, and Hellsing vol. 8 for about $43 total.  Of course, this store hasn't had shit all year--it's very hit or miss...today was some serious random luck.  I saw Einhander and was like "holy fuck."  Then I saw MHP2G and thought "now that's just silly" :lol

Himu, where in Orlando is this store? I've been looking for Let The Right One In (can't find that at B&N/Borders/Books A Million around here).

This is a store in Houston, in the Northside, in Houston city of Humble.

I'm not from Orlando, I only go there for school.

There is no HPB in Florida.

Since there's no HPB in Florida, Constanza, you could at least find a couple of mom and pop book stores. I'm not terribly familiar with Orlando yet but there's surely some good ol' main street america type of stores down there.

Half Price Books is one of the things I miss the most having moved from Ohio to Florida.  :'(
