When I got my 360 a month ago, I had a lot of saves on it.
I set up an Xbox Live Account yesterday and whenever I try to play one of the games I owned, the game(s) say that I need to start a new file.
How do I import all my old saves into my new account? This is on the same HDD.
Thank you in advance.

Saves are tied to profiles.
-
Can I transfer them over or would I need to get a memory card to do the importing and exporting?
-
For most games you can copy saves over to another profile in your memory blade. I did it to backup my Fable 2 gamesave since they don't give you multiple slots.
-
I tried copying but it said it couldn't copy to another profile in the hard drive ???
I only got pretty far in DW Gundam so I might just delete my old profile and take the hit of losing my DW Gundam save. Don't feel like buying a memory card for this shit.
Thanks for all the help.

I dunno, it worked for fable :(

I looked around and it looks like it depends on the software on whether you can transfer or not.
So I'm probably going to have to write off that DW Gundam save. Oh well.

What happened to the original profile? You could have just recovered your old gamertag.

Original Profile - Offline, created when I got my 360
New Profile - Online, just created yesterday
It's still there but I just want to transfer all saves over to my other profile, which is my XBL profile.
