Title: 2006 - a look back
Post by: whiteACID on November 30, 2006, 12:36:02 PM: I don't know because I can't really remember it. I went canoeing for the first time this summer, my little sister got married (I can't believe she's turning 22 in a week, I feel old) and I got a new car. That's about all that comes to mind.

Won 500 dollars playing small stakes on-line poker.

Started work on building our house.

Spent too much time on the internet (poker and forums), gained 15 pounds. Haven't worked out in 1 1/2 years now.

Time moves too fast.

Had to find a new place, deal with work stress and other assorted problems. On the other hand, I've put myself in a position to start working for myself, helped create this little community and most importantly, met someone special.

Embarrassed myself at a family reunion

Overall this was an uneventful year imo.

here's a couple of names just off the top of my head of people i've always got along fine with: Donkeyskin, Zethca, Silvermayo, Cyanista, Mikesphat. Might be a small list, sure, but there's PLENTY of other people that I used to dislike that I now get along fine with.

But who cares? I'd rather have people treat me normally than give me sympathy because I've got MS.

January: Stayed with my long term girlfriend at her apartment and stayed with her while having walking pneumonia, left at the end of the month.

February: I got sicker, ended up being in the hospital twice. Sent her some nice valentine packages to the girlfriend. Then I traveled to see her again and everything started falling apart. I stayed at her aunts house for the weekend till I could go back home. While she stayed at her place.

March: I find out she's serious about another guy and she dumps me. I go under the knife to have several growths removed from my left lung and around the heart. I start contemplating suicide.

April: I try to get better and stay healthy while dealing with thoughts of suicide and pain. I distance myself from all my family. After being heartbroken for a month I tried to go out with someone. I couldnt handle it.

May: My best friend contacts me and asks me to visit her cause she needed someone. I came to be there for her. But my feelings for her were still there. I try to make it an enjoyable time. We had a ok time. We became closer in the ways we care for each other i guess.

June: I get a job to help her out and to start paying my bills. My grandparents started letting the bills go so i started paying for them.

July: I turn 21 get drunk do something stupid which lead to me doing something even more stupid. I had a foul up and screwed up pretty good. I continue to help my girlfriend out. Gave her most all of my money from work that month and then some. Got invited to evilbore signed up.

August-November: working my ass off, going week to week. started exercising on a bike I got. Fight with this girl over my feelings and why things are so hard. Get bitched at by this very same girl cause she expects what i give her. I lied to my mother and took her money. Lots of shit went down. Got a second job to make up for my lost car fund.

December: I dont know, I feel a cleansing of the soul will be happening soon.

I look forward to 2007
