i think alive 2007 proved they still have it, human after all isnt godawful, I hated it at first of course but it has good songs

I honestly haven't listened to Alive 2007.  Is it new material?  I didn't hate Human After All either, but it was just really disappointing in comparison to the two great album's they'd put out.

alive 2007 is a live album and its pretty amazing, apparently human after all was contructed to be remixed for alive 2007

its  basically songs from all their albums mixed together

their are rumors of working on a new album, but they have 3 studio albums which are all original atm

bunch of remix/live stuff, which usually improves it all

Human After All sucked until their Alive tour. When contextualized, it kind of makes sense. Listen to the live CD.
