Still haven't seen the first one. Probably not going to.

Transformers was probably the worst big name movie of the decade.

Fuck, I've been trying to come up with one worse and I can't. Until Dragon Ball comes out of course
Superman Returns was better than Transformers. I'd say of the so called worst blockbusters this decade:Transformers was probably the worst big name movie of the decade.

hancock, nukka

- Egyptian hieroglyphics …turn out to be depictions of Transformers who visited Earth.
ang lee's hulk is still the standard
Transformers was exactly how a real life version of Transformers would turn out. I really don't know what you people were expecting.
A story that didn't suck and about 100% less John Turturro.
Edit: and fewer characters who could be written out of the script entirely with a single line of throwaway dialogue taking up all of Megatron's screen time.

Transformers could have been 30 minutes long and been the same movie. Real Talk.
I think I remember liking Superman Returns a bit, but I can't for the life of me remember much of anything about it, apart from Luthor being on a cruise ship or something.
???
:lol
Superman Returns wasn't awful - it was just one the most mediocre, unmemorable films in recent memory.
Come on Solo, don't let me down like that. Isn't that also the part where the Transformer takes a piss? And this is really Spielberg quality shit?

No, it isnt that part (although the dog may piss on the Transformer in this scene, I cant quite remember). The scene Im talking about is Shia looking for something in his room, with his parents also moving around the house, with the robots basically destroying his backyard and popping in and out of site each time before the parents see them. Its inconsequential, but sort of light and fun, almost slapstick, and yeah, feels to me like a type of throwaway scene you'd see in a Spielberg movie.
Isnt that your own fault though for not making better (and blatantly obvious) choices on what you pay to see? I could tell you The Unborn would be shit from the first trailer and the people involved. Conversely, anything Eastwood does is at least worth a watch.
Every single part of Transformers was absolute shit.
The 10 seconds of Starscream fighting F-22s was amazing.
That scene should have been about 10 times longer.
When I was a kid I loved Transformers. Now, meh I've grown up. Fanboys of the movie - and worse yet, the butthurt franchise fans who act like Bay raped their grandma - need to man upspoiler (click to show/hide)*anticipates GI Joe movie*[close]

The best part of the movie is where Shia is trying to find the MacGuffin in his room, and all the Transformers are outside trying to be "quiet". I dunno, amidst the pile of shit that the movie is, that was a fun scene, and almost felt like Spielberg had swapped his producer hat for his director one.
