Title: SaGa 2 DS Remake

SaGa 2 is like one of my favorite games ever. I know we have some fans of the series on board here (recursively).

I wish the WSC remix version was ported to the GBA and brought out here :( I loved SaGa/FFL1 as a kid, even though FFL2 is technically a much better game. FFL1 had an item called the N BOMB though and that's pretty awesome.

the basic mechanics and world are similar to Frontier 1 (many small worlds with different wacky themes, human, robot and monster characters with each race leveling up differently), but linear and a lot simpler (but also a lot less broken).

Best mistake ever.

Sadly, these were the same grandparents who got me Dirge of Cerberus a couple years ago for my birthday.

I really liked FFL3, I would personally prefer that they remake that, but maybe I'm in the minority.

Post by: recursivelyenumerable on January 15, 2009, 12:29:12 PM: New shots show enemies visible on the field and a combo system in battle. Looks like this is going to be a complete overhaul that incorporates features from later games, a la RS PS2, rather than a mostly visual update like FF3/4 DS.

Recursive, you make it sound good. If I had a DS I'd be all over this.
