Title: Having people you've cussed on the internet serve you at Chik-fil-a is awkward.

A couple of years ago, I googled my own name for the first time. The first result was a blog of a guy in one of my classes from before that (that had a bunch of talking about Jesus and shit on the sidebar) calling me a fucking sasquatch. Naturally, I didn't like that very much at all.

Left him a comment that went something like this:

Some girl (I believe it was his girlfriend, also with Jesus shit on her blog) had left a comment on that post asking "what does a Thor ******** look like anyway?"

I sent her a message saying:

Both of the preceding two people mentioned closed their blogs within days. I also closed down the fake blog I had used for this.

Fast-forward to yesterday, the guy mentioned in this story was one who took my order and made my drink at Chik-fil-a. Nothing was said, but we both knew.

Fuck family values and Christianity. They should have a dude promoting drugs and violence, right? Chick-fil-A is more charitable per capita than nearly anyone, and they take care of their employees better than any other fast food company in the country.

In the end, Chick-fil-A's commitment to family values and Christianity has directly resulted in me having great food at good prices and great customer service with no wait 99% of the times that I go there. I'm selfish so that's all that matters to me.

Wow. That's unlike any Chick-fil-A that I've ever been to aside from the ones in various airports, and even then those aren't "real" stores. Most of the Chick-fil-As around me are so popular that they have to have traffic cops to manage the huge rush of customers during the lunch crowd. I've really only been to Chick-fil-As in the southeast, but they are pretty much all this way and this popular. And yet you still get in and out with your food in just a couple of minutes (provided you run in instead of waiting in the ridiculous drive thru line.

Even the one Chick-fil-A that I had a lot in Texas (it was in the Grapevine area) was super busy, and it was just about the only place in town where I could get real sweet tea.

I fucking love Chick-fil-A. It doesn't hurt that they gave me a nice scholarship in school with no strings attached and that there is a Tim Burton Batmobile along with a dozen other cool cars in the company's HQ :)

You should complain, you can probably get it shut down or a new manager in there. I've never really heard a complaint about Chick-Fil-A like that. It's pretty much regarded as a very high level fast food restaurant.

Bojangles are dirty and nasty but they make really good food too if you find a good one. Chick-Fil-A is usually very consistent in my experience. I always crave it on Sundays though :'(

Legally, they can't call it 'chicken fillet' because it doesn't come from something you would call a chicken. It's the same reason Kentucky Fried Chicken had to change its name.
