Title: Resistance Retribution Demo
Post by: Kestastrophe on January 17, 2009, 08:20:39 AM
It's alright. Uploaded about 10 hours ago, iso is about 338mb. Its much more run and gun compared to Syphon Filter, and there is a cover system that seems to work ok. The auto aim is great and almost makes up for the PSP's lack of a second analog nub, but I haven't figured out how to switch between targets yet.

you can switch between targets in your auto aim box by tapping the direction towards them.  Basically, if you're locked onto the right guy in the box and want to go to the left one, just tap square. I don't really like the auto aim all too much since it leads to some weird camera issues; it's a bit like the Wii where aiming to the right has the on-screen character stretching his arm all the way across the screen to shoot sideways.  It's not really needed either since it's cover based combat and you can take the time to aim manually.

btw, here it is: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ICPX7HKM

The demo works on a non-hacked PSP, right?

Because it's an iso, I don't think it will work. For some reason I seem to remember that the demos you download from the store (i.e. legit) are eboots and not iso, but I could be wrong about that.
