I don't know if it's a busted pipe or if my stupid upstairs neighbors poisoned each other in the tub with the water running and are now dead which KIND OF SUCKS since they can't turn the water off. Then again, I never liked them. But they won't answer the door so I have no idea if it's them or a pipe. I'm going to assume it's them.

I've left an emergency message for maintenance. Why does this crap have to happen at 11 PM?

Put buckets in there to collect the water and pray that your super gets your message.

Yeah, the first thing I did was take one of the plastic storage containers that I never unpacked from when I moved last year and emptied it (it actually contained most of my games, heh) and put that under the leak.
Maintenance guy called me, said he thinks it's a leaking tub and not a busted pipe since the water isn't gushing. Upstairs people's lights are on, but nobody's answering.
Somebody's floating in the tub, I just know it.

Knock on the door and say you're the police. Either they'll bail out of a window or answer where you can say "lol jk, downstairs neighbor, plz take the body out of the tub THANKS."

this happened to me at my last apartment.
the mexican diagonal from me upstairs was washing laundry in his tub and fell asleep. what a loser

No dead bodies. Turns out the neighbors had a broken shower head. Kind of messed up their broken shower head would leak into my apartment. With that in mind, I'm going to conclude it was intentional.
