So , what is the cost of a pint of beer in your host country converted to your home country currency (and $$) ?

1 pint (roughly) 900 yen

GBP : 7.25
$$$ : 10.11

To be fair, DC is talking about the imported stuff like Guiness and Hoegaarden. You're not going to pay that for a pint of Asahi Super Dry in Japan.

Both are expat pubs dealing mainly in imported booze. You wouldn't pay that for a daijoki of Asahi in an izakaya. 300-400yn is more like it.

Too bad we can't legally ship alcohol. An international beer swap would be a lot of fun.
