I'd be a regional training manager.  I'd go to select stores throughout the region and train them up on the videogame sales industry and whatnot.

Oh? Business travel sounds fun until you actually start doing it yourself.  Well, congrats, nonetheless.  It's extra money in a crappy economy at least.

I'm assuming that with the ways things have been going for you, you'll be promoted again, so you won't have to endure the traveling forever.

It's just a nomination - it doesn't mean I've got the gig.  It just means my District Manager threw my name into the hat.  It'd mean a round of interviews with the Regional Manager, who I interviewed with for my original job and have met (cannot read this guy at all), and his boss.  Whom my DM has never met with or spoke to, so it could be a total crapshoot.

One of the requirements is three years with the company, which I certainly don't have.  My DM is making a case is that my experience with the competition should apply.

At any rate, I was already nominated as Team Captain of the three hybrid stores in my immediate area.  So I'll be working with them no matter what.

I might be getting promoted too after only three weeks on the job.  My boss fucked up to the tune of $1.3 million in unpaid invoices

Both.

The plus side is that I would do more store training and less singular store management.
