Is this Hendrix at his best? "Voodoo Chile", "Burning of the Midnight Lamp", "Crosstown Traffic", "All Along the Watchtower", and "Voodoo Child" say yes.
And the album had great cover art.

Don't forget Rainy Day Dream Away and Crosstown Traffic. It's a great album, but I wouldn't consider it Jimi's best album. Are You Experienced is perhaps definitive Hendrix, but Axis: Bold as Love is his best album imo.
The album features so many brilliant classics. Ain't No Telling, If 6 Was 9, Castles Made Of Sand, One Rainy Wish, Spanish Castle Magic. And then of course the album features what is perhaps Jimi's most brilliant song, Little Wing.

Wow. The first time I can fully agree with PD on anything. I love Little Wing, one of my all time favorite songs.
