This thing's sweet. It looks like a GB Micro but it has a bunch of emulators, video and music playback. I want one.
I'd love to jump on one of these devices since a portable emulation machine is the best thing ever (and the only saving grace from me dumping the PSP into the garbage). However, the PSP fits the bill quite nicely as a portable emulator and I wouldn't want to throw cash on a slimmer device if it isn't up to par with what the PSP can do. So I'm curious how this and the GP2x Wiz stacks up in terms of emulation accuracy.
The Wiz is about the size of a Gameboy Micro.
The Wiz does not have two D-pads. Those are old prototype models which unfortunately seem to be the majority of the pictures of it on the Internet. The released version will have traditional face buttons.
The Pandora is unquestionably more powerful than the Wiz, but it's also much more expensive. If price isn't an issue, go crazy with it, I can't justify spending so much on it though.
I'll pass on $100
100 does seem a bit steep though, but what the hell. Why the PSP doesn't have better SNES emulation is baffling.
You guys saw the Street Fighter vid right? Thats not that good SNES emulation, the sound was complete wack
Dont you have a DS? Just get a flash card if you are ordering from Dealextreme.
woah quake, tubular
they have quake running on DS too. so what
Really? I was expecting it to cost a bit more, though I'll admit I'm not up on this shit at all.
I'll likely order one after Valentine's Day.

Not sure if that was because of his camera or something because the action seemed to move at a smooth clip anyway. Not expecting 100% full emulation on this thing, but like I said it may at least beat what's on the PSP right now.
Cons:
- Shit support. Nobody's writing new stuff for the thing anymore it seems. All of the devs are looking into the Pandora now (if that thing's ever going to be released). Though the MAME, SNES, Game Boy and Genesis emulators are okay; that's all I need I think.
