Title: what ds games are you looking forward to?
Post by: ananus on January 27, 2009, 06:14:02 PM: i've been thinking of picking up a ds while i can still do it without being ripped off by the dsi, so i was wondering if there are enough interesting games to be released, since unlike the psp this thing can't be used for anything else.

i remember that atlus japanese police beat 'em up looking pretty good but that's about it.

edit: i'm asking for games that'll be released 'cause i have a good idea about what i want that's already out

Post by: recursivelyenumerable on January 28, 2009, 03:07:44 PM: World Destruction looks cool, but people who played the JP version said the battle balance was badly broken. They're supposedly tweaking it for the US release so I'd wait for others to play it and report on whether it's been fixed.

Post by: EmCeeGrammar on January 28, 2009, 05:32:26 PM: Phantasy Star 0 (however ugly) and Scribblenaughts make me want to buy a ds again. I think a new retail Warioware is in development. Touched! had potential and hopefully its more fleshed out this time. You can make your own microgames now.
Why hasn't Nintendo made a DS smash yet? Multiplayer would be a hassle?

Post by: Bebpo on January 28, 2009, 06:15:11 PM: DQIX and DQVIr that's about it. I hate handheld games, but DQ seems to work ok in the format so hopefully IX won't be too horrendous.
