Final Fantasy XIISame here. Better than FFX
Mods, please leper anyone that says Metroid Prime.
FFXII, FFA2, MGS4, AC:WW and anything Kirby :-[
EDIT: Dear god I am turning into Andrex.
Mods, please leper anyone that says Metroid Prime.I liked Corruption quite a bit
Metroid Prime (the first one, not a huge fan of the sequels)
Lunar
GTA4, Guitar Hero 80's Edition, Assassin's Creed :-[
Xenogears, Earthbound
I already admit to liking Super Smash Bros. and Ar Tonelico, I'm not sure what more you want from me.

Pretty sure we like AC here. At least I do.

You could admit that you like me.
I played through Red Steel and derived enjoyment from it.Serious? I barely made it through the first level. I thought it had potential, but they really shit it up. And the controls were bad...like worse than Wii Play even.

My love for you is always "behind the back".
Serious? I barely made it through the first level. I thought it had potential, but they really shit it up. And the controls were bad...like worse than Wii Play even.I'm a highly patient gamer (I beat Batman Dark Tomorrow and Escape From Bug Island just to test myself) and the novelty of the whole Wii control thang compelled me to keep going. Its a highly flawed game, and I'm sure if I picked it up again I'd be much less enthused for it, but at the time, it wasn't all that bad. And heck, it still has better graphics then most Wii games now.
Mods, please leper anyone that says Metroid Prime.Agreed. The best game ever should be praised.
btw, Prof. Layton is pretty stupid. I tried playing it last week, saw the nice-ish anime intro, then got into thick of the action and it was basically an elementary school workbook hidden in dumb events. I thought it was supposed to be an adventure game, not Brain Age with a style swap.

I imagine that the game is more fun if you visualize yourself reading the back of a box of fruity pebbles before catching the bus to go to school.

Red Steel was fun for about 2 hours, if only for the novelty of the Wii controls.
red steel is very truly bad. but it has one hilarious level. the graphics are so horrible.

ok I'll be the first to say it. I enjoy my wii.

I try. I try really hard. I find games that I should like and try to like them. But I just end up not having fun with Wii games and hating everything about them. :(
The last Wii game I finished was No More Heroes/Smash back a full year ago >_<
I do enjoy my wii, but I do wonder how much better games would be if the motion tech worked reliably. It ruined No More Heroes' combat, and tenchu sounds like it includes its own shortcomings in that regard.
oh please, that worn-out broken record again? "I heard there's a cool game in Japan, I hope they bring it over"
What are you playing on the Wii? Like right now!! (current games please, 3 months+ games can't be considered)
Anyhow, I really want to know what people who only own a Wii play right now.
I put some time into Rumble Roses on the 360 when it came out, I'm ashamed to admit.
I'm actually pretty excited to see if the Wii Motion Plus will help with Wii controls. I do like the concept of motion controls, but the current setup is horrible. I just hope it's not another budget solution like everything else with the Wii.
As far as I've heard, DOAX2 has the nastiest, most painful and OCD unlock requirements outside of a Korean MMO in order to encourage you to buy the DLC unlocks. And on top of that, I hear it's a sloppy mess that none of the developers gave a shit about. I have a copy of the game, but I don't think I'll ever play it.
I never tried DOAX2. The core volleyball mechanic in the first game was brilliant and since DOAX2 was identical in that regard (as far as I know), I didn't bother. You wanna know what's smh? I spent $20 at an arcade once to play Target: Terror. Got to the last level, had to repeat it three times to save the pilot of the hijacked airliner before giving up. I didn't know you had to shoot the gun out of his hands! :'(
The soundtrack in DOAX was pretty darn good.
And I loved collecting swimsuits.
smh
