Title: Pawn Shops: Ripping off filthy poors and passing the savings on to you.
Post by: Joe Molotov on January 29, 2009, 11:19:27 PM
I got LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet & Clank Future for $15 at the local pawnshop today.

:bow filthy poors trading their PlaySaturn 3's in for toweled Xboxes :bow2

I know that's what happened. Their stock of Xbox 360's games was terrible. The only thing anybody had traded in for it was about 15 copies of Sonic '06, Rock Revolution, Turok, and Farcry Instincts.

I work at a school on an Indian reservation that has a large casino. There's a pawn shop right across from the casino, I'm sure there's some interesting stuff in there...

pawn shops are depressing.  i can't go in them most of the time because i always see some poor hispanic family selling off shit to buy a bag of beans or whatever

Pawn shops are great for buying games, but the results are so hit-or-miss it can be frustrating.

I saw some Mexicans in there, but they were buying some DVDs. It was the poor white trash that was pawning off their HDTV to get their circular saw out of hock (I kid you not).

Man, I wanted that game for so long; and the prices on EBAY and stuff have been horrible. Is this on PSN or due for a PSP remake?

Anyone with availability to the internet (and since it's in most public libraries, it is all inclusive) should not have to resort to selling their belongings to a pawn shop.

Because you can sleep in libraries. And if you're tiny, you can bathe in the sinks?
