I just did the math, and I watch about 10-12 hrs a week of children's show ... and about 6 hours of adult programming. I think it's affecting me.

My daughter likes to have this National Geographic Explorer show about water and marine life running 24/7. It;s narrated by Dudley Moore, who is the voice of this ghastly animated globe dude called Spin. It is SIr Dudley's job to spout random nonsense like "COWABUNGA!," "THIS SHERIFF WEARS A STAR...FISH!," and "I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER" as the 1.5 hour spisode plays out. MAF pointed out the last time it was over that if you listen to the audio track of the show, it really DOES sound like something you'd hear from one of Hannibal Lecter's cellmates.

Anyway, it has like five obnoxious songs that NEVER. LEAVE. MY. HEAD. I'm thankful my daughter hasn't expressed an interest in Dragon Tales or Bob the Builder like her cousin, but I know I'm doomed.
