Title: Dear god, Californication is fantastic!
Post by: Tieno on February 06, 2009, 04:36:48 PM: I'm up to episode 10 of the first season and man, it' so good. Hank Moody (David Duchovny's character) is such a cool, smooth dude. From the first episode it just clicked with me. My brother recommended this to me and he wasn't wrong, I love this show.

Good writing, cool characters, nudity, great flow, fantastic Duchovny

I agree. And given the circumstances, there seem to be many parallels between Duchovny's character and his personal life.

But the show is pretty entertaining for a guy with all the T 'n A shown, but my wife couldn't really get into. But since my wife watches soaps, I don't hold her opinions too high.

Post by: Solo on February 06, 2009, 08:23:21 PM: Its definitely a very likable show, and at times very affecting. With that said, I tend to agree that I wouldnt call it a "great" show by any stretch. Although Duchovny scored major points for having to go to rehab for porn addiction.
