Title: Have you ever had a test worth 25% of your grade without ever seeing the topic?

Like at all.

The rest of my class, literally *all* of them to a man, failed it miserably, and they have textbooks AND have seen this material AND they have not missed the the past two weeks with illness.

It's only really happened once before to me, and it was in like 10th grade.  We told the teacher that we had NEVER went over this material, and she became all flustered and left the room.  We had a free period, it rocked.

Just tell me there is a job for a guy who hates business speak, but can dissect just about anything and write very long-winded whitepapers about it without using something called ping-pong theory when it has nothing to to do with the "ping" network troubleshooting command!

Same.  Highest grade in the class, actually.  The book was Wuthering Heights.

that's easy as fuck, not worth bragging about :punch

I have a test tomorrow, haven't studied for it/don't have the text. I'm gonna cram on the power point slides all day before the test, since I don't have any class notes
