It seems that my 360 is broken.  Customer service said that the error code I got either meant that my console was broken or that the hdd was fucked in the balls but the hdd works on my friend's console so I am thankfully not screwed out of my saves.

Tomorrow, I go to 360-heaven Costco™ and get a new one to break in over the 3 day weekend.

..nah, I'm still under the costco warranty cause I bought it in spring 2006.  Essentially when I exchange my bundle, I'm giving up PGR3 for whatever pack-in games they've got now I guess so that's probably not going to actually benefit Microsoft in any way that I can think of.  However, the next 5 MS published games that I buy, I'm going to buy them used.  I might even buy a couple full-price wii games if I can find anything playable and then really hurt them sort of!

Don't bankrupt Costco, they are the only retailer that pays a decent wage.
