One of the top Principal Advisers for the company I work for was on this plane heading home. I was just talking to him on Wednesday at the office. :-\

It's all so weird. :'(

There's usually a few major crashes and about a twenty or so minor crashes every year.

Man, that's tough. I mean, even if they weren't your friends or anything like that, they're still people that you see and interact with on a daily basis and then...they're just gone. It's tough. :(

It's a sad truth. I was checking crashes from 2008 and there were four or five that had more than 15 fatalities. One of them had over 140 fatalities.

6 weeks for me. I am more afraid of flying than probably anything else. I'm flying to Germany, and I'm looking at 9 hours and 33 minutes of me being freaked the fuck out. Will probably buy Xanax.
