we need to do our WWII games retrospective sometime soon
i wish there were a way to link this up on GAF without causing a big deal or forum drama, as i think there'd be a bunch of folks in the off-topic section who might dig it
i've personally never had a problem with evilore (i don't even think we've ever interacted, to be honest), and our show only has the slightest connection to this site, as we do a lot of general interest subjects and leave out the wink-wink insider jokes for the most part
jesus i really do sound like i have a lisp, i blame my sinus infection
I'm loving it so far, great observations on Roissy - one thing I've noticed is that the accents/speech seem a bit more exaggerated - Eel's southern twang (LOL at pewwwwwn!) and Drinky's slight lisp are definitely more prevalent this time around.
I'll be pimping it on my show, and I'd be happy to donate some free ad credit on Google that I've amassed to the cause.
I have a suggestion for a topic and would be glad to volunteer my services if asked:
DUMB THINGS YOU'VE DONE WHILE DRUNK
bob hope is awesome
fuck you all
and Bill Hicks showed up in Preacher
i like bob hope, but i like jack benny more
those comics are awful, though
And quit lying, no one really likes Bob Hope.
oh stop, it is not, you're gonna give him a complex
I'll be honest, I didnt' even listen to the first episode and just assumed it was a joke.

That's ok, most of us pretty much do that with all of your posts.

So this is what Vestal sounds like? Has a worse lisp than Drinky. :P

Either/Or portrays two life views, one consciously hedonistic, the other based on ethical duty and responsibility. Each life view is written and represented by a fictional pseudonymous author, the prose of the work depending on the life view being discussed. For example, the aesthetic life view is written in short essay form, with poetic imagery and allusions, discussing aesthetic topics such as music, seduction, drama, and beauty. The ethical life view is written as two long letters, with a more argumentative and restrained prose, discussing moral responsibility, critical reflection, and marriage.[1] The views of the book are not neatly summarized, but are expressed as lived experiences embodied by the pseudonymous authors. The book's central concern is the primal question asked by Aristotle, "How should we live?"[2]
