Why was this movie made?

Ryan Reynolds did Blade: Trinity, people. If he thinks a sequel is beneath him, you'd better believe it.

I have had knee-shaking, äss-skewering hemorrhoids that were funnier than this so-called comedy
At one point I tried to force myself to fall asleep, just so I wouldn't have to sit through any more of it.
The laughs are low, the breasts are high, and the film is instantly forgettable.
The question comes to mind: How do you make a Van Wilder movie without Van Wilder? The answer, after watching the end result, is you don't. Or at least you shouldn't.

Bububububububt KUMAR!

Cause they can use cheap actors and still make a profit of this shit even releasing it to theaters. Not to mention the bonus DVD sales it will get sadly from all the distinguished mentally-challenged fellows that want it.

Bububububububt KUMAR!
seriously, how could it not be funny?

Did Ryan Reynolds at least make a cameo?

Why was this movie made?
Because Van Wilder cost 5 million bucks to make and made like 40 million dollars.
There's a market for these movies when they have extremely low budgets.

But why so long for the sequel? It could have been the Saw of comedies, by the looks of it...
