Saw this over at Where The Hell Is Matt? (http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/). He's a lucky guy who does nothing else but travel to unique and strange places.
This is from the Salt Flats of Bolivia:

None of these pictures are photoshopped. At over 4,000 square miles, it's the world's largest salt flat. In the rainy season it's covered with a couple of inches of water that creates a perfect mirror of the sky.

The speck on the horizon is the Salt Hotel (http://xo.typepad.com/blog/2006/08/salt_hotel.html). Yes, it's made out of salt.
Amazing. I really need to travel there sometime in my lifetime.

Yep, everything really is made out of salt. It's about $50 bucks a night.
