Title: Working on Mardi Gras sucks

Now I know how everyone else feels.  :'(

This is the first Mardi Gras I've ever worked. I was supposed to cut out at noon and still see a few parades, but they sprung a conference call on me for 1:30, so I'll probably miss everything. Around 90% of the city gets a holiday today, and I keep getting calls from people asking where I am/having fun/rubbing it in.

Still, w/2G2D and everything, I guess it's better to be sober and employed than the alternative.

**edit** Sorry for LJ, I'm the only one here in my office. No one to bitch to but the boss.  :(

i just called a law office and was informed they would be closed for the mardi gras holiday.

Anyway, only took a few pics on the phone. I was stone sober until way after the parade. I promised though, so here are two!

You don't really see too many people flashing in parades around here, and even less so in day parades. One goes to New Orleans for that kind of thing.
