Title: I just watched Chinatown
Post by: Bloodwake on February 24, 2009, 03:40:33 PM: Pretty damn good neo noir, I must say. Great ending, and definitely not predictable. I loved the entire style, from the credits at the beginning to obvious film noir references (a venetian blinds reference at the very beginning).

The ending was kinda shocking, since I was expecting a femme fatale... which is one of the reasons I fucking loved it. Good deal.

Chinatown is one of my favorite films of all-time.
