I'd have to agree. I don't believe any of this talk that the shield is somehow the magical "X" button feature.

In the end, I predict this "X" button feature ends up being something very simple, and certainly not original. Such as taking cover, or sprinting.

Wouldn't really matter to have cover in a game like this. I don't think it'll be difficult enough in that way. I mean you see hiim jump into an open field full of brutes with no cover.

I don't I preferred the Halo 2 pistol because it wasn't overpowered.

And the second picture is apparantly about a brute weapon.

I loved the overpowered feel of the first pistol. It was was pure awesome. You felt like a badass running around killing your enemies with a pistol.

And the brute weapon looks nice, even though we can't really tell what it is.

Spiker. Don't know what it is. But I think a part of what made the Halo1 pistol so good is that you could screen-watch if somebody was shooting you with it.
