Title: Empire: Total War - Steam now sucks

Been trying to install my copy from Steam and it keeps stopping and saying the game in unavailable; even after the install has gone about 5%!

Crap so it wasn't just DoWII that had horrible install problems?  Steam.   :'(

Steam redeemed. I'm too busy playing America's Army 3 for free though...ON STEAM.

i went to go play that. my character stopped animating and started gliding around the tutorial level. great game us army.

LOL, yeah it's apparently buggy as crap. I went to the menu screen, then closed the menu out but the menu was still stuck on my screen. I didn't bother reading the whole GAF thread, but the original devs have been sacked (due to incompetence, I hope) and it's been handed over to someone else.

I've only played half of the tutorial so far but anyone else playing it after hte patch?

I'm on Chapter 3 of the tutorial.

My objective is to capture Louisiana port by sea.

So I build a few ships but the game won't let me travel by sea. Every time I click on any part of the map that's water, the voice says, "Sorry Sir, that's land", or "We're a ship, we only travel on water."

Anyone else got this bug?
